this is my opinion and everyone else is entitled to theirs BUT
i think its a hideous looking dye

but ya this dye doesnt deserve to be more then like 1,2 pls dont support this sceme
by buying or flipping if it does reach max+ its 100% a pump by some kind of group or clan
and people fomoing in the market is fucked as it is dont need more

what yall think?

Dyes are being merched due to GWD3 bringing in new gear that can be dyed. Player character update may be one reason. Maybe the trust on the walk tokens has also had its part in targeting different low volume items. At the end of the day it comes to personal preferences.

Yeah I agree in thinking the dye looks really bad too lmao, possibly worse than Barrows dye (which many hate already). I think the ice dye is just really 'out of place' in how it looks, mainly on the armours - no offence to ice dye fans.

That being said, I'm a dye hater and think they are ALL overvalued and would never use one ever. Though many players just like using dyes and purely play the game to grind to dyes as a personal achievement - it's just individual preference in the end.

On that second point of not supporting this price action - if some players have decided to pump it up to the moon, I have no qualms with that. Actually, I for one, am all in on this juicy action - the more volatility the better lol (no manip intended btw xD)

I think it has potential to be another interesting 'over max cash' flip item if this price pump up is sustained, it stabilizes high, and there isn't an eventual crash caused by a dump. Dyes are an interesting item for merch/flip purposes since they seem to involve a degree of strategy - in how they are consumables unlike most other expensive items.

EDIT: Just checked drop rates on ice dye and it seems to be approx 5x more common than 3a and Blood dye as a drop, thought would be worth mentioning here lol

im happy i got my ice sos when ice dye was like 723m. unless i get it from elites there is no way im going to spend 1 bil for a dye.

My favorite dyes are shadow and ice dyes. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

You either sold ice dyes too low, or want them since I don't see you mentioning 3a/blood dye prices.

I infact do like ice dyes, more than 3rd age dyes :)

Also @Nyxiah I think you forgot shadow dye.

It probably is a pump and dump but like 'I Lack Heart' said, it might be due to new dyeable weapons from GWD3 + the money from walk tokens transferred to dyes. Don't be surprised if shadow dyes become 1,2b.

New, dyeable armour and weapons. Demand for dyes increase.

It's not only a pump and dump. I'm not buying any dyes, however. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(
