What are your thoughts of it becoming tradable and/or wield-able
?

I’ve got a Yo-yo, I think making them tradable would be another shot to the economy as I reckon they would be very expensive and rare. I’ve been wishing they would become wieldable for years! Just like how that H’ween spider “Eek” is.
I like mine and the fact they won't be out again. Or will they..... You never know with Jagex.
Honestly I would love for them to stay None-Tradable. Makes them such a unique item that not many people have. Would be interesting to know how many are active in game.
If they become tradable then they would be manipulated to hell and back. Would be no fun buying them.
As for wield-able. Not sure that would work either. I need to think more about that first. Not had enough tea this morning to post my thougts on that question.

I have mixed feelings on this subject. I wouldn't mind either scenario, them remaining untradable or becoming tradable. If they were to become tradable, this would allow players who missed the event an opportunity to claim this item.
I do recall a poll years ago regarding bunny ears, rubber chicken, and untradable holiday items potentially being rereleased in some manner. I think Jagex should reassess player sentiment on reintroducing holiday items, potentially cosmetic versions in the oddment store.
Have to agree with ya' both there -- there's seemingly too much wealth floating around nowadays that they'd become a prime investment for so many
. The cute lil' spider
Eek
would be subject to this too, surely! Debatable-y, the Discontinued Item prices are problematic as they currently stand, anyways.

Both great points, Theos! Probly' one of the coolest things about OSRS, obviously imo, is how the team originally had a collaborative decision to yearly reintroduce these
Discontinued Items
to prevent exactly that. Once again, imo, I believe that this is how the RS3 team should/have handled the situation, as well. But alas, in an MMORPG it's seemingly the aspiration by many to stand out further than one-another -- even if it's simply by collecting and displaying an item released from decades ago (especially un-tradable).
As for the reintroduction of the items, iirc, it was proposed through MTX or the sorts was it not? I believe this that this proposition alone understandably made the
poll
fail so miserably due to what the community's view on MTX at the time was (and still is to an extent). So in theory, if this poll was to re-run, it'd be the hope that the employees approach the decision from another angle.
Ultimately, I'm admittedly biased on wielding the Yo-yo myself. Optimistic it'll happen and realistic it won't

I have one too but I wish it was equippable, or became an idle animation, because it's a pain in the butt to have to keep clicking on it to play with it!

im with this
i dont think it should be trade-able though, i know if they were to become trade-able id be able to make a nice chunk of change, but no no no no
As much as I'd like to have mine from my original account, I think it's better things like that stay untradable. That gives it even more value in my opinion. It pains me to say it since I no longer have mine, but I think people who have it should be able to wield/keepsake it.
