cinderbanes are in my glove slot most often cause for low low cost of repairing them they give lots of extra poison damage IFF the enemy is vulnerable to poison. I'm long capped at xp things, so the trade off that poison doesnt count as -my- damage, or that it can rob little bits of slayer xp is no big deal at all. they're great set and forget gear.

kerapac wraps are really really neat if
LUNGING 4
and you will for low cost of a basic that cools down every 15 seconds... and assuming your abilities set in order: wrack and ruin, dragonbreath, combust; and assuming you know when to catch a "moving" target like kerapac being up in the air about to do his akuma kick (slam) will show you a flurry of hits that break 2k dmg ea. so 12k dmg. for a basic. like you used tuska spear on slayer task. its big.

I couldnt believe my eyes at first. I felt like I was lucky getting close to 1k, but I break it all the time now. Yeah I am throwin eof guthix, shadow cloud, and vuln bomb a lot, but...

12k!!! I hesitate to say its more damage than cinderbanes, but thats immediately better to my eyes than letting aftershock 4 come randomly when it wants and sometimes sack a raid at sand (ugh).

I haven't looked at what it does to soak-y percents to be mage gear instead of hybrid, but its probably not the deciding metric for anyone on the fence. Neither are "all" like dragonrider boot/glove, so its probably only gonna change as expected (and drider will surprise yall if you never looked before).

so if yer maging, and on ancient magicks, and enemy aint vulnerable to poison, and you like more control... kwraps are bis. no caveat.

avernic are way cheaper than ilujankan components too.

I think cinderbanes are still king as you can apply weapon poison +++ and cinders enhance that effect aswell. The new gloves are far better for bosses/mobs which are immune to poison (like araxxor) and much better than stuff like deathtouch bracelet as long as you are walking the bleed before dragonbreathing. One major problem is the fact you are reliant on accuracy and this is pretty annoying as if you splash you can lose out on some dps vs wearing the bracelet and also the fact you need to walk the bleed first or risk losing lots of your damage. Mass contributor to deaths coffers.

Don't let the gloves details fool you. You can cast combust and walk the target at the same time then cast your dragon breath. Which is 10x easier than dragon breath walking him and trying to apply combust :p it is dope and I love it! I actually did 50 runs of barrows practicing manual abilities and i was dropping them with just the two hits. Granted they only have 10k life but it speed up runs.

barrows? right on.

yeah man once I did 200,000 arhat, sold 200 spear I made from scratch at 40m ea, and got 100m slayer xp for it and those things affinity weak to air so you can't miss them with armadyl battlestaff, and I seriously remember that theyre immune to poison, but the rs wiki says theyre not. hrm. anyways... bein able to kill those things before their rage gauge fills cause all of combust comes off at once. indeed dope af.
