I bought 1 gold partyhat for 149.5m flat but with the tax its 146,510,000. I still get 149.5m removed from money pouch instead of 146,510,000. Ik the lower number is with the tax from seller at the other end but I would think my buy would have been with the taxed price. I need my blue charms back.

Don't trust any pc's listed, any advice or talks between posts on ID forums anymore , the Manips are let loose, especially the main one with 15+ accounts posting acting as different people.. do your own research

GE tax only affects the seller, so I have no idea how your trade would be affected if you bought a gold phat?

Now if you sold the gold partyhat back for 149.5m, then you would only receive the 146.5m (or w/e the hell 2% of that is taken off). You don't gain money for free trading lol. If anything you have to be more diligent and aware when selling (especially for merchanting/flipping). It's easy to not pay attention now and actually lose money flipping even if you technically sold higher than you bought if the margin was >2%.

the tax is only for the seller, if you buy an item for lets say 150m, then you pay 150m and the seller gets 150m -2%. the 2% goes into thin air and the remaining amount goes to the seller.
trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.
