In my time the most used way to accumulate gold for rares was duel arena. Since thats gone, what is the current way to accumulate gold for rares?

Is it even possible these days to accumulate starting from zero with a balanced personal life? Let's say 16 hours of gaming a week?

Top-end bossing, every day, for a year. With just 16 hours a week, year s . Zamorak, Zuk, Telos, bosses like that.

Second best option is clue scrolls. However, bossing will always be better.

If you know what you're doing there's of course merching, and if you don't actually want to play the game, gold swapping between RS3 and OSRS.
