History of this thread: The original thread was originally posted on 21-Jul-2010. We had a 6th birthday for the thread in 2016 until it reached its post limit. We counted 210 bunnies last thread and hope to count much more this time. Jellies will be continued be counted on as they name themselves. Onwards to the new thread!
Note: If you "checked in" on the last thread, your checking in on this thread will not be counted towards the total count of bunny ears as I am doing my best to keep as accurate count of confirmed bunny ears as possible.

Original post: Looking for those with bunny ears and those who want to discuss bunny ears! Reply with your forum picture with you yourself in your bunny ears, this way we can confirm if you have them or not. If you don't have bunny ears, that's okay too, we can discuss them in this thread if you have what Wacky Farmer and I call: The "jellies" AKA jealousy. :P

Sorry f2pers, no forum pictures for you (including myself now, haha), but good news is that you can now post an imgur screenshot on the forums. Do this, with a screenshot of your character wearing bunny ears with your name visible on the same account here on the forums and I can count your bunny ears.

Commence! [Username], reporting in.

Total Bunnies found: 283 Bunnies!
Total 'Jellies' found: 25

Wiki Information about Bunny Ears:

Bunny ears were dropped during Easter 2003. Hundreds to thousands were spawned on the ground all throughout RuneScape. The drop was accompanied by a system message: 'Happy Easter!' They were the first non-tradeable holiday drop. When they were dropped, players were only allowed to grab one. If players tried to grab another one, in their chatboxes they would see the message, 'You don't need another pair of bunny ears, you only have one head'. Any player who loses their bunny ears can go to Thessalia's Fine Clothes in Varrock, or to Diango in Draynor Village, to have their bunny ears returned to them.

When worn, the player looks like they have tall bunny ears. The bunny ears give no stat bonuses. Also as part of the Draynor Bank Robbery a player spoof called Qutiedoll (level 16) was wearing a pair of Bunny Ears. Qutiedoll also shows up in 'a Rumble in Da Jungle' cutscene of the My Arm's Big Adventure quest, and in one of the places you could visit in the Gnomecopters update.

Fun Fact: A strange and little-known fact about bunny ears is that they slightly change their appearance depending on the characters gender. When a male character wears them, the ears appear to be more slim and tall - yet when a female account has them equipped, the ears are more oval-shaped and wider at the middle.

Edit: Looks like the forums are going to be closed soon forever, so I believe this concludes the counting of bunny ears as well.

You can read about it here: Forums shutting down

It was a pleasure counting along with y'all all these years. My personal hope is that Jagex one day re-releases bunny ears or releases an alternate old school version (black bunny ears anyone?) so that we can all be hoppy together.

Special thanks to all the 'jellies' that came with us along for the ride even if they only could appreciate the bunny ears from afar.

See ya scapers.

I don't have bunny ears, I started playing in October of 2004; at the age of 13...Not necessarily jealous of those with bunny ears, scythes or partyhats/masks, etc...for me there are items that I've gotten over the years that will always have a special meaning to me, I try not to let physical items control my gaming :)
