I am writing this because I recently started revenant hunting just to complete my boss log for the Chaos title (24/30 items) and hopefully obtain my next revenant pet.

Any idea what's the drop rate for a Revenant Spirit? From what I've read, the drop rate decreases after receiving a pet.

Got my 4th rev pet around 2.7k kc. I am currently at 11.3k kc and still have not gotten my 5th pet (8.6k kc dry...) <- hope they can buff the drop rate because it's kind of scuff.

Not sure if 8k+ kc dry is normal since i don't exactly know the drop rate.
If possible, can you guys share your pet kc. I'm just curious.

It depends on which revenant you are killing. Lower level revenants have much worse drop chances than higher level revs. There is a drop chance calculator which you can check from wiki (link: https://runescape.wiki/w/Revenant_Spirit) to get accurate drop rates.

I've heard lots of ppl been struggling to get 5th or 6th pet. I personally went +10k dry from 5th to 6th pet but then got 6th, 7th and 8th pets within ~7k kills. Currently at 22k kc and I have cyclop

I got the dark beast pet (I think that is 12 out of 14?) at 26.5k KC. I just need a Zuriel's Staff for the Chaos log title.

All the drops are really rare anyway but from the low level revs the drops are crazy rare.

You have pretty good luck at revenant since i rarely see people with dark beast at that low kc.


Yes, sometimes i get 3 items within 100 kills and sometimes 1 in 1k kills. :/

I always have item protection prayer on. Those four items i listed will be protected (unless i get smited).

Are you aware that you don't need to protect your salve amulet? If you are killed like overloads and other untradeables the salve amulet will get dropped on the spot you died at. Just walk back to the cave and pick it up.
better bring another damage+ item and I hope you do have the wildy 4 sword for the increased drops.
On this account I'm currently at Rev Ork and 32k kc and on my main (ponypacks) it took me 89k kc for dragon. Total kc would be close to 1450k with 43 swh's. If you need help with your gear,pathing and maximizing your kc a hour let me know.
A lot of players don't understand the spawntimers and most efficient path that's why they get 600-700 kills a hour instead of 900kills. I have everything in a droplog with screenshots if you would like to see them.
