Possibilities include:
- devs were working on this
before
players even mentioned it on Reddit (or it could have even been completed and in the queue). Seeing this was a desired fix, they just upped the release date
- it took an hour less of coding and proper QA was quick an easy. in coding, sometimes all you need is 1-2 lines of code to create or fix something, and between automated QA and playtesting, it too can go pretty quick.
