This is the side effect of the M/S rework.

No, there won't be a T92 Malevolent because of the T92 Trimmed Masterwork.
Partially because you would have duplicate set effects. Partially because it just duplicates Tiers (they've been avoiding making multiple gear sets at the Post T85 .... 1 tank, power and hybrid? sure. more than that? no.)

The Elite Tectonic and Sirenic were also created so that the effect bonuses on Slayer and Elite Dungeons wasn't just limited to melee.

Finally, the Malevolent is a component of the masterwork anyways.

Elite items doesn't have to have a specific level. You can't compare a T95 item in a combat style capped at level 120 to a T95 item in another combat style capped at level 99 anyway.

Don't get carried away with the level of "elite" gear. Elite doesn't have to be a specific level, let alone T92. It is obvious Elite POP weapons are T88, not T92.

I think it is possible we will have Elite Melee gear, and even likelier to have Elite Necromancy gear, but Elite Melee gear doesn't have to be T92 and/or Malevolent, and Elite Necromancy will be higher than T95.

"Elite" is a qualifier, Elite POP gear is introduced to bring an improvement to T85 POP gear, even at the time when we have T92 gear already.

It is all up to design and future updates, Elite POP gear is definitely very useful when they add Animate Dead.

Pointless. Why I complain about somethings like Melee particular having too many "placeholder" or better yet: dead content items that are not intended for anything other then dyeing or being a noob trap. <<><<<><<<><<<><<<><<<><<<><<<><<<><<<><<<><<<><<<><<<><<<><<<><<<><<
