If you have done the newly released Secrets of the Inquisition mystery you should have come across another mysterious name tied to the Monolith and the deeper part of the Shadow Realm - Vos.

Vos is apparently one of those rulers, or a henchman of the rulers, of Erebus, who tried to make deals with Aurelius and other Zarosian Inquisitors when Zaros "disappeared" for an unknown reason in the ancient Senntisten era. The time line apparently was shortly after the battle between Zaros and Loarnab the Hydra God.

We know from the Battle of the Monlith Zaros has gone to Erebus apparently tried to make a deal with "the rulers" of Erebus. Ironically the Monolith seemed to have surfaced way back in the 1st Age or very early 2nd Age in Senntisten. This strongly points to Shadow Breach content is coming up probably as soon as at the conclusion of the Elder Godwar chapter - the Grand Revision.

Now, let's start making sense of the Shadow Breach, the 2nd chapter of the Guthix's Prophecy Triology... What future update content do you think we will see from Shadow Breach?

Given Zaros said there are rulers in Erebus and Vos is being mentioned in the Secrets of Inquisitions as well as we know Xau-Tak from plenty of lore sources, I think Shadow Breach may also come in different fronts similar to the Elder Godwar content we are currently enjoying.

Perhaps we we have a Vos front, then some other Shadows and Xau-Tak comes in the last front? Maybe we will fight Zaros as one of the bosses too? That will be interesting.

BTW, Vos' name is of course a 3-letter word like Jas, Wen, Bik, Ful and Mah. We can't rule out Zaros refers to Vos as the "6th Elder God" which is not of form but of something else... something else like a shadow but not of form? :D

this is a dumb idea it totally sucks and is very lame. there is no support its a dead end and its ugly. all the things u could ever think of are wrong and i hate it. have a nice day. ;)

I am not sure what you are referring to, but this thread in the Future Update Forum is not about idea or suggestion. It is about what we think about future content Jagex has talked about or we think will come based on Jagex's announcements.

Thank you for the bump anyway!

I think its a safe bet we see a tzhaar front with a fire hydra like the one that woulda been raids 3.

The Vos stuff... yeah man I think there has been a trap to let Vos eat the eggs, cause the shadow monolith is right under them.

..and I have strong hunch that ichthlarin swoops in at last minute to understand how to deal with vos and winds up building an infinity watch to stand guard over that shadowy realm.

Creosus is the monstrous fungus mentioned in Inquisitor's Memoirs (Page 4):

"When I asked her why, she claimed she was seeking out the monstrous creature that was sealed away there. She spoke of the dread corruption that plagued our city so long ago. A monstrous fungus that threatened to consume and infect the city, before it was fought back and sealed away beneath our dead. Nonsense of course."

It spreads corruption, so probably are linked to Xau-Tak.
