For those who missed it, Jagex has outlined a plan to replace the Duel Arena with something related to the Elder God Wars storyline sometime in early 2022.

Regardless of what your personal feelings of getting rid of the DA are (personally, I consider this a major win, considering nearly 40% of all RS3 RWT bans are directly connected to it), what are your theories as to what this replacement will be?

I suspect it's going to have something to do with Kharid-et. After all it's right on the border of the Duel Arena, and is clearly Zarosian in nature. Are Zaros and/or the newly-ascended Azzanadra going to return to Kharid-et hoping to uncover even more secrets from the old Empire? Something that will burst out the ground below the DA, and reduce it to rubble? Maybe we're looking at the origin of the creature what might end up being the equivalent of Nex or Telos for the Elder God Wars Dungeon?

"High" population of like 100 concurrent stakers? RS3 can easily make any healthy content and get the same "population".

How does Sand Caisno favors rich or poor people matter to its removal? Jagex said they are removing Sand Casino because of RWT.

I don't know about that. It's right on the border of Al Kharid -- I feel like Jagex probably won't put two cities right next to each other.

It's definitely going to free up some space; I just feel like it'll be used for something other than a city.
