Dec 4, 2020 Mod Pi said he was working on an update for the area loot system where it "doesn't close when you walk about and updates as you walk. Updates instantly when an NPC dies. Works with Auto-retaliate!" It's been over 2 months and it's still not in the game. I'm just wondering when we will see this update? Don't let an extra chromosome get you down.

You know what? RS3 wants to release bigger size projects all the time. It may come as a part of the big PvM update which will come with other significant changes to the PvM Hub like resetting cooldowns with War's Marks. It may actually come later this month too.

The news post from the 12th stated:

"... if everything goes smoothly with the Account Integrity review, we currently expect Game Updates to return from March 22nd. That’s a definite ‘if’ for now though, as all of this is contingent on continued good progress with getting affected players back into the game.

That said, there’s a jam-packed couple of updates to look forward to when those updates resume! We’ll kick things off with the Rex Matriarchs, closely followed by a brand-new Easter seasonal event and the eagerly awaited Pi-Mas Combat Fixes."

Therefore, it sounds like we can expect to see the updates released soon, providing the work to rectify the log in issue proceeds as planned.
