You probably want to look closer. They aren't bigger and thicker, only more muscular, and the contrast is even bigger with the wonder lighting effect in RS3. Good job, graphics team.

My main question is when is the current ETA on this?
Have they even said yet or?
I believe they said it takes several stages to release the final World Guardian model, and they will be releasing it in different phrases. From the latest blog:
"
Right now we're at the closing stages of what we call 'Proof of Concept'.
After sketching our ideas out in 2D, identifying our technical challenges, scoping out the required time investment and many, many rounds of internal feedback, this stage is all about building a baseline. We're implementing the initial meshes (the visual framework and textures that make up your avatar), testing compatibility between original fidelity assets and the refreshed ones, and checking that everything works with existing animations."
The next stage from the proof of concept is Production. So, expect the first phrase of the Evolution of the World Guardian to happen soon, although the final product probably will come out months later. They said in the last livestream, there will be another livestream on this Avatar Refresh project this month. I guess we may have a good idea on the release date of the first phrase from that livestream.
The male body has become absurdly muscular. and the female body has become absurdly busty.
Not that these are bad per se, I'm sure many teenage boys will enjoy ogling the new female body.
But there's no middle ground anywhere to be seen, there's no petite body type available.
it looks very disappointing to me.
Not every one needs a big fat butt or rippling body builder muscles.
This update isn't likely to accomplish the goal of bringing in new players like they think it will.
and having no options will probably just anger a few older players as every update does. it seems like they need to work on this more and add at least 2 or even 3 more variations to each body type.

I wonder if they're changing how all armors and stuff look like too...sounds like alot of work to redo all clothing but looking forward to it
They are not because some people want to keep their retro armors the way they are. IMO outdated outfits always look inferior in the eyes of present day players, but when people in the past want to dress like Elvis in 2021 and don't mind to look "weird" then so be it.

Blame Andrew Gowers for not making the Avatar scalable then. There is not much we can do to fix that in a year. It is possible in the future though.
You should also know the new World Guardian is not only more muscular but also come with more flexible animations. Should be really good even for Tiktok dance... Hey hey hey hey...
There live a certain man in Runescape nowaday. He is big and strong, in his eyes a flaming glow. Most mobs look at him with terror and with fear, but to Runescape chicks he is such a lovely dear.
Ra Ra Rasputin Runescape's greatest love machine! Happy Valentine's Day Runescapians.
