Thought this was on cancelled due to server limitations. was said couple of streams ago,

My main concern is with haveing way more then max cash (2147m atm) is that

when something goes wrong, like bug abusers doubling moneys.

when they do that with max cash 2147m it is allot

but with the new max cash being much greater then the current.

is like asking for mayor problems.

Agreed, much higher consequences. But if it were limited to the G/E, that might narrow down the amount of glitches? Plus, the way I see it, the G/E is the main 'benefactor' (if that's the right term) of increasing the gold cap since it'll mean more gold leaves the game via tax. Bob says:

Over max cash is implemented with a new "currency" which players can't physically access probably similar to Runespan points. It is not a physical item like plats. Bug abusers may be able to dupe plats, but I doubt they can dupe non-tangible items like Runespan points that are numbers stored in the game's database. To dupe the Runespan points and such they will have to hack Jagex's game databases.

Random servers have been going down which isn't official maintenance. I suspect bug abusers are doing this to test their bugs. I expect another Rollback when the bug abusers find a way to dupe gp after the max cash increase.

Same things on OSRS servers too, but they aren't getting over max cash GE update like RS3. How can bug abusers even test anything when RS3 hasn't released a thing they can test on anyway.
