How will the email log-in only affect people with usernames rather than email accounts? The email tied to my account has a different account tied to it will I need a new email address or something? How's that supposed to work?

Is this in relation to Jagex accounts when they hit open beta?

Jagex accounts have you create a brand new account under a completely different system, so you can use any email address you want (even if its used by a different RuneScape account already). Once that is created, you just have to be able to log into the RuneScape account to be able to import it onto your Jagex account.

Old login credentials go away entirely once an account is migrated - so username logins will soon be a thing of the past. So will the need to create new email addresses when you want to create a new RuneScape character, since your characters are all on one Jagex account.
