I am happy to hear that we will be getting the much-needed fletching and firemaking reworks. why is there no woodcutting rework? The latter two skills require woodcutting. This could have been the perfect update to introduce the Imcando hatchet and the tier 90 hatchet, the 'Criesinbark' hatchet. It is like smithing without the mining rework. I am stumped.

RS3's content updates are mostly story driven, and the new EP said direction of the game is going to be even more story driven.

If there are going to be some new woods to cut, there probably is going to be some new content associated with it. Note that we just got new woodcutting nodes in Bik's Front. Of course, with new woods, we also get new fletching out of Bik's front.

I doubt if they are going to add new trees that have no dependencies to the lore and other in game content just because some players think it is cool to have more trees to cut.

We also just got new fletching without woodcutting. Haven't you visited Dream of Iaia? We don't have new woods to cut and we don't even need to cut any wood ourselves, but our Anachronia Basecamp underlings cut vines for us, their World Guardian boss. :)

I didn't read it as a firemaking and fletching rework but more a new method to train them in addition to the existing methods, a rework on a scale similar to mining/smithing would require months of work and hype buildup. Resident Clan LoreNut :D

More than likely what it'll be yea.

So whatever these new methods are hopefully they'll be worth it.

By RS3's definition this should not be a rework. However, some other games call them "rework" all the time.

Anyway, we have been having similar fletching and woodcutting "reworks" in many occasions the last few months, and I named Bik's Front and Dream of Iaia as examples.

I can see probably The Fifth Boss: Zomarak will bring another fletching "rework" too, if the T95 rewards contain the missing T95 Ranged gear.

It might be the fyrdeeds from Sana's journal. It'd be cool to get to make wooden sculptures to set on fire in a blaze of colour. If it is, I would've expected woodcutting to be a part of it due to being the skill she's associated with in the Croseus front. Still, the actual sculpting of them would probably fall more under fletching even if we eventually get some new wood to make them from. How to block a forum user
