If you find watching it for entertainment fun, why not? Games and entertainment are soon going to be in the same category, if they aren't already.

I know a lot of non-gamers are seeking story telling entertainment in games like WoW, LoL and such because they offer ongoing sagas the Marvel and DC Universe way. RS3 can too. They have all those 20 year old everliving unique gods, heroes and villains IP that will excite the entertainment industry too, when they can polish them.

Games have always been intended to entertain. That is their function, so no it's not strange to watch gaming videos purely for entertainment.

I'll be doing the same thing, but I am also curious to learn all I can about the new skill. I've been putting out fire with gasoline! ^_^

We get to see the trailer tomorrow. I hope we can learn more about the stories behind Necromancy. About 10 years ago behind the game and world changing The World Wakes event, RS3 released trailers to tell us about gods and the godwars conflicts. We probably are going to see more details on the darker side, perhaps with undead, demons, shadows, devils instead of gods.

I watched it several times and left a thumbs up. None of that was for the release date.

The intro is cool because it makes you think you are watching an ad. It actually is an ad. Rated PG16. I'm not sure how we got there, all of my suggestions are way too tame. My favorite parts....

:10-:14 "I take pride in my work"
:24-:34 The green jets synced with thumping music.
:35-:49 Death's speech is awesome
:50-:59 My boy Grassy Owl sitting in his boat, looking like Kylo Ren making a reaction vid.
1:00-1:16 How cool is that? Super cool
1:40-1:52 I want to watch this movie
1:53-1:57 Grassy Owl and friends. IMO the dude on the right is Mace Windu.

It's entertaining to me anyways.
