- Followers of the Menaphite Pantheon would make sense. Would be interesting to see Crondis, Het, Scabaras, et al getting involved. Perhaps even being allowed to siphon energy, possibly as a way to counter Amascut (unless we skip yet
another
bit [like Death of Chivalry 2] and Amascut is dead/defeated/redeemed already)
- The Godless. Underutilized to the point of being forgotten by the devs. But they are one of the few factions that haven't been losing numbers to the constant warfare. Plus they have as much to the whole "stopping the Elder Gods" as anyone else.
- Bandosians. We apparently learn that the GWD1 battle is mostly over as adventurers evidently claimed the Godsword. However, there would be enough numbers left over for the Bandosians to throw their numbers into the mix.
Commander Zilyana:
After adventurers claimed the godsword, it no longer seemed relevant. We pulled out, as did the other forces.
Main reason why I'm not sure they would be thrown in is unlike the Desert Pantheon or Godless, they'd be the least likely to throw their weight into the fight at the urging of Ictharin.
Then again, this is the Bandosians were talking about here, and a fight is a fight to show they are still strong. And with 2 Elder artifacts and the eggs present ... who knows.
- Sliskeans. One of the even furthest fetched. Canonically the GWD2 is "over". Sliske being gone doesn't help things. But what better way to help the dead move on than to utilize them to defend something important.
- Anima Guardians. Would be interesting to see Vorago, Solak, Seiryu, and Telos somehow get into it to defend the eggs. this assumes there isn't some programming preventing them from going against the Elder Gods.
- Wushako Isles armies. Untouched area. With The Abassador defeated (canonically) and plans thwarted, it would make some sense if an of the regional forces could be rallied as well for their own reasons.
