Just a thought: Those who've not been able to play Runescape on mobile for the last 2 years or so might appreciate some kind of bonus or perk. The recent lock out bug and resulting items to appease those effected provide an existing rollout frame work. Why? Because so many people I've met in game and elsewhere say they were able to idly max their skills and profit while working or elsewhere giving them an advantage over us who need to plunk ourselves in front of a computer (less conveyance means less reward).

No because you can play on mobile too. Actually you could have been playing and maxing your characters on RS3 and OSRS for years before the login/logout issue and the Guardian Gift since 2017. I don't see why we need to give RS3 players who don't play on mobile any perk now but not the last 4 years.

Dilbert2001... I've been in the iOS and Google Play stores and I cannot and have not been able to download the mobile version. I'm registered but the game itself isn't on my phone or tablets. This is strictly for RS3 and not OSRS. Also, I think you missed the conveyance aspect of my post where it's easier to max out your character on the go. Myself and many others have to sit on a computer as scheduling permits. Those who've been enjoying mobile have been able to play while waiting for buses, school, passing time at work, anywhere really.

You should be able to play RS3 Mobile on beta for quite a while given your phone has the required specification. For iOS they have only admitted 10k testers.

The point is you could have downloaded and played RS3 on Android for a long time idly too. And don't forget OSRS Mobile has been out for years and they never gave any perk to players not playing on mobile. There is no reason why RS3 players not playing on mobile should get any perk now all of a sudden.

My phone's iOS and haven't been able to download it even when a beta was announced. I and others weren't given the opportunity to play as you seem to think and am glad that you've personally been able to take advantage of something other players couldn't. If this were an in-game issue it'd be a bannable bug. And IF the mobile version's so readily available then I guess Jagex is full of it when they say they're releasing mobile next Thursday BUT I suspect you're just on this thread to troll.

If you decide to post your idea in the Game Content Suggestions Forum , please keep in mind that the full version of the mobile clients is due to be released on the 17th of this month. No players have had access to the full version yet, so no one has been 'locked out' of it.

What has been available for mobile has been initially a Limited BETA for Android, which then progressed to an Early Access BETA, while iOS was only available as a Limited BETA. Many of the limits on how many players were allowed to participate was due to constraints of the platforms (Apple & Google Play) and not choices made by Jagex.

Also remember that once the mobile clients are officially released on the 17th, there are already rewards being given for those who download them, based on the number of per-registrations. See
