Its been almost 5 years since we got a Fremmenik Quest, in Hero's Welcome.

Since that quest and the events that followedI have wondered several things:
1. When do we get revenge against Sakirth?
2. Will other Hero Gods learn of V's death and chose to act or come to pay their respects.
3. What does this mean for Saradomin and Zamorak now that the SOJ gone? Will the Dragonkin still seek to kill them?
4. Now that the moon clan and fremmenik have united will they seek retribution for their fallen hero?

I've been itching to see what happens next and I think with the latest Dragonkin Quest, Desperate Times, it is time to see what happens next, be that seeing Gods involved that have had interactions with the Dragonkin, a chance to take on Sakirth and Kerapac, heroes and gods from other worlds V visited appear in game, or even a quest to bring the Godless involved with the Fremmenik people.

Either way I hate V was this legendary hero turned God and he never had a real story when he returned.
He was a very interesting character that could have had an impact on the 6th age , is there anyway we can get more stories or lore on his adventures and give him a quarter of the content that Guthix received when he was killed?

Do we get revenge against Sakirth? No. He is going to look for, and kill us, along with Sir Tiffy rather. He showed the World Guardian that vision already. This event in the future probably has much to do with the Dragonkin looking to kill Saradomin, but Tiffy stood in their way with the World Guardian trying to help out, and.... we know the rest. :(

So what about V... and his people? Well, we know on the scale of 1-10, V scored a rating of "Guthix" in term of how dead he is according to a Jmod. He is simply as dead as Guthix. Jagex has floated the idea of making a quest of the children of V though as that option was being listed in the 2019 Annual Survey of Quests. Unfortunately, the demands seemed to be not there as it received one of the lowest votes among all the options. Demand of other femmenik content is probably quite low too as we can see Jagex also replaced the Hati and Skoll event with something else.

The Dragonkin storyline will be continued with the Quest Desperate Measures , set to come out this summer. Also, per the events of Desperate Times, it seems that the Dragonkin are not after us or other Stonetouchers anymore. They have bigger fish to fry; the biggest, to be exact, that being Jas.

As to V, hopefully we will see those Hero Gods he mentioned :) If I had to guess, under the assumption that they will appear at all, it we be as a form of divine help against Xau-Tak and the Queen of Ashes. We first heard their names from V, after all, so it would make sense if other Hero Gods knew of them as well and want to help.

Not. The Dragonkin doesn't care about Jas. Even Kerapac's son opposed his father. In fact, nobody followed Kerapac's plan so he flew to Anachronia himself alone. That's a known fact.

I hope we get some kind of prequel, his death seemed to be there for:-
a.) Shock value, which we didn’t get because we barely knew the character.
b.) To push the dragon kin story forward, I.e he was created solely for the purpose of being killed as a plot element.
Either way it’s just wasted potential as V could have been a very strong character.

I don’t know if he’ll make a comeback, he does seem to be very dead. But if comics teach us anything it’s that dead characters don’t have to stay that way.

Imagine Bandos, Guthix & V coming back as a result of the latest Dragonkin shenanigans with elder artifacts, time travel and all that nonsense.

Maybe the world will be reset to before Guthixs death through using the needle and the measure.

Who knows. :P

It is a possibility in the 7th Age... in the new unannounced MMO though. Perhaps the 7th Age is the Age of the Living Dead Gods, featuring mutated Guthix, V, Bandos et al, after COVID-19 the Corruption destroyed Gielinor? :D

YEAH!!

I wanted to ask... what is happening with the sixth age Quests???
I've not done Sliske's endgame or Desperate times...
But are these still going ahead?? Seems like Jagex have taken a step back from the serious god storylines?
I really enjoyed them Children of Mah was fantastic...I like these more serious story lines not really that interested in ones like Violet is Blue and once upon a Slime...
Will Jagex revert to some more god like Questing in the Future??

Kerapac vs Elder Gods vs the World is a very serious story line. I have a feeling Zaros is heavily involved in the plot as the Azzanadra and the City of Senntilen quests are obviously Zaros themed. Jagex also hinted on something we didn't know about Zaros with the "Origin of Zaros" as an option in the 2019 Annual Survey.

I don't expect a comeback, though i'd love one or some sort of plot twist. Theres many ways something could result form it though, even just bringing another hero god into the game or maybe a child of V?

I would like it if we had more chances to utilize the time travel method we used in the Light Within when we got to speak to Guthix. As a God he deserves more content much like Guthix and Bandos still get.

I doubt if V was a strong character to begin with. Most of the other gods either are born to be gods (Zaros, Seren, etc) or they killed other gods and drained their powers. I don't think there is any mention on V killing other gods. If he haven't killed any god and drained his power he might not be too much powerful than Sliske actually.

Anyway, Mod Osborne has this comment to a question about V:

"On a scale from 1 to Guthix, how dead is V? Why was he killed so abruptly, why didn't you give him a chance to expand on his character compared to other gods?

Mod Osborne: Guthix.
V was intended to be a plot catalyst, driving the dragonkin into new directions
. The problem became that he was written well and looked great, so it became a problem when he died!"

So, V was meant to be just a plot catalyst, a stunt man, and obviously his job was done when he died. He wasn't meant to be strong to begin with.
