Having an obnoxious amount of people crammed into a tight space is absolutely horrible. This is bad game design. Personally I would love if the City of Um was Instanced but at least make the ritual spot instanced. It’s hard enough to deal with the random events on mobile and the overcrowding doesn’t help.
On a separate note. The city is unnecessarily large. There’s so much dead space just making crossing terrain a chore. There’s countless buildings that serve no purpose? Why? Should’ve made everything nice and neat, compact. Big disappointment compared to something like Priffdinas. That is a perfect execution of huge space with loaded content
The Worst Part is Waking Up
Yes. I mean, they probably tested the Ritual site disturbances with one player. When you have 3-400 players all running around and it says 'The shambling horror reached its objective" I'm like "I never even saw it, let alone got to click its sparkles"
And then theres that idiot that sounds like a walking thunderstorm standing beside you so you can't even hear the audio cues

"We've heard your feedback around the random events during rituals, and we're investigating ways to make them more intuitive and clearer to see during the process. This may take the form of audio cues, chat messages, visual cues or a combination."
