please can any one help today i went back to try for the soul . to find the green things now follow me down to these . never happened when i was doing it as a slayer task is this norm now . i find them hard any way now near impossible with them . i tried running across the other side for them all to follow .i mean about 6 getting fustrating .

Frustrating is definitely the word for me. Those ghosts have the longest attack range I have ever seen. I'm zoomed out but ones that would normally be off-screen are on my trail.

Thing is, we voted a long time ago for non-aggressive monsters. There is a reason for that. It is super annoying. There are plenty of ways to get a monster's attention if you want to fight 10 of them at once.

I like to chill and contemplate my drop. Apparently those ghosts also reduce the healing power of my food. What is their problem? I have no bone to pick with them. TBH my character would dig a tunnel around them because I already captured their soul.

The drop rate of armoured phantom soul for me is 1/453 with all the buffs other than cursed ushabti.

I am so not interested in that gaming experience. I'd rather farm the cursed sand from Camel Warriors myself just to get the improved drop rate.

The urge to complete my slayer collection log is not strong enough to lure me into that cave. So basically I am not doing anything in the game. Roaming aimlessly.

i love getting achivments but yet again this stops i will have to wait for the last soul in my chest . i can only get on with legacy tried the other just gets to much for me to grasp . as you can see been playing a few years each one they get bigger and better so things are begin to slide. once i get this soul out of my head i will be able to set my self back to enjoying the game . i under stand they need to get it updated for the young the pensions like my self will slide nice and slow .

I totally understand about legacy. The standard EOC layout and customized interfaces leave me lost.

There is definitely a middle ground though. I play EOC using the legacy interface. The only visual difference from legacy mode is the ability bars above the chat. I use 2 but you can have just 1.

Everything else is in the same place, easy to find.

In the settings you can bind ability bars to weapon types. So if you use a 2H melee weapon it automatically switches the bar to what you equip.

I have a 2nd bar with abilities that are used regardless of style. Like defense, surge and prayers. I really like the setup I have.

IMO it's worth using EOC/Legacy interface just for surge. Lots of fun, even though I always go the wrong way or slam into a bush.

You can definitely play 1 click if you prefer, and with the setups on the wiki that is actually BETTER than how I play. But I enjoy manually inputting some of the abilities.

You can use Revolution Mode. As OSRS popular content creator J1mmy said with Revolution Mode:

"In OSRS when you attack a mob, you click the mob. In RS3 when you attack a mob, you click the mob". Shrug! No difference.

yaaa got the last soul a few deaths running from the green globs . only good thing myself and a friend say thank you for the greater sonic wave manged 2 before the soul. now to replace all the food i ate .long walk will help remove the few ponds :P
