I agree with you,this Hero pass update is so bad that it is borderline killing the game for me and I have been playing Runescape for almost 20 years every single day.
The things that really upset me about the Hero Pass is how insanely intrusive the whole thing feels and especially all those damn sounds and chat messages and boxes that fly across the screen that this horrible updates is throwing at us.
I do not care for cosmetics,but I know that some players do and good for them and if they are happy about even more cosmetics that Hero Pass gives them,then that is fine by me.
But I simply will not be forced to be a part of it and I am forced to be part of it because of how intrucive the whole system is.
Even though Jagex writes that they have removed some of the sounds,those sounds are Still there so they have NOT removed them and I am a player who always plays with sound and game music on and I will not play the game if I am forced to turn off sound and music because of this horror update.
The whole removing of the 3 daily tasks is without doubt one of the worst things Jagex has ever done in the almost 20 years I have been in the game,but all those madness inducing sounds and messages are simply THE WORST thing I have experienced in the game ever.
I grinded to 120+ necro in the first 3 weeks and even though it was hard I was so happy to finally become 120 so I could really start to enjoy the new skill with combat and I even bought the tier 95 armour and weapons last week and was really getting into using necro for bossing and such,but after Hero Pass arrived I have simply lost all joy about playing Runescape and since Hero Pass came out I have only been online for about 30-40 minutes a day doing the few things I do every day and this morning I was actually feeling sick about loggin in because I knew that I was going to have to listen to all those Hero Pass sounds and messages.
If Jagex don't remove those sounds and messages I will stop playing Runescape.
