Hello!

I'd like to express my thoughts on the Hero Pass. While I appreciate the broader design suggestions that have been made, I believe there's a specific aspect where the Hero Pass falls short – its charm, reminiscent of Yak Track. Currently, the Hero Pass, from its icons to the menu and even its name, bears resemblance to generic mobile reward tracks. The overly polished appearance looks mundane and unappealing; it doesn't align with Runescape's distinctive aesthetic and feels out of place in the game world.

I believe a significant portion of Runescape's player base is drawn in by nostalgia and the familiar visual design of the game. So, introducing a generic looking reward track comes across as a half-baked, money-making strategy instead of acting as an asset to the game and appealing to the average player. I used to love Yak Track. It had its gameplay design flaws, but stuck it out for the silly little yaks.

My suggestion would be to:

- Either retain the name "Yak Track" in some essence or come up with another title that captures Runescape's whimsy and unique identity like the previous title did.
- Resign the elements of the Hero Pass menu to appear more like Runescape items/visuals

I wish you guys the best of luck, I know you guys work hard. <3

RS3 is about the past, the present and the future. Mod Pips narrated the plan for its next 20 years in the RS20 Anniversary.

RS3 is not just about nostalgia or the past at all. Yak Track/Hero Pass has different themes in different seasons too. This Hero Pass is about the Underworld. Necromancy it a new skill, the 4th ever combat style in all of Runescape games. It is not about nostalgia at all. It is about our new skill and new City of Um.

There were Yak Track focused on nostalgia and the past like Yak to Basics, but it is just wrong if every Hero Pass is about nostalgia like Yak to Basics.
