Upon login when the new Vorkath event/quest went live, I thought I saw something about a possible free death week or something, but I can't find anything about that anywhere in the article, event info, forums, etc.

Are we having another free death timeframe to do the quests, defeat bosses, do slayer tasks, etc.? If so, how long is this benefit going to be available?

I got my head handed to me doing the new boss event, and I was "shielded from Death's gaze" and I think I was teleported to Draynor lodestone.

So yes, I think free death week is here. It might only affect the new boss, however.

Related side question on my own thread because this issue causes me to die. How do you stun mobs when using necromancy? For example, Armored Zombies have that healing thing that needs to be stunned to get rid of it, but there are no stuns that can be manually activated to stun it to get rid of it when using necromancy. Any advice would be appreciated as well.

But how do you manually cast it to directly attack that healing ball when they spawn? I can't keep letting the phantom keep healing itself and wasting my supplies/time because of it and then dying because I can't kill them.

I think we are. I just died and got teleported to Canifis with all of my stuff intact.

I think we are. I just died and got teleported to Canifis with all of my stuff intact.

The quest boss fight is free death, and I believe it is permanent.
