So, you nerfed xp. Not a big deal. Just grind more on whatever you're grinding on, right?
WRONG
I have not started necromancy yet. Wanted to wait for the initial hoopla to die down so that I could take my time with it.
I decide I'm going to go get my current slayer tasked knocked out. 155 basilisks. Not a problem. I get set up the way I have been the last few times I've had this task.
You didn't change their combat level. You nerfed their xp. But you massively buffed them.
Not just a little stat adjustment but a massive buff because I brought enough food for the entire slayer assignment and only managed to kill 20 before running out of food.
How is that balanced at all?
So now, not only do we have to fight larger amounts of monster in order to get the xp we need, but we also are going to have to fight for a much longer amount of time due to the ungodly huge buff you've given these monsters.
That is not balance. Balance would be to say adjust stats but to remember to actually adjust their combat levels as well so that it properly reflects what you're going up against.
A monster with a 77 combat level should not be obliterating someone who's combat level is close to 20 levels higher.
It doesn't seem like it was well thought out at all. Which means that you probably didn't adjust slayer assignments to reflect the massive buffs you given monsters.
For the people that are maxed it doesn't matter. For the people who are just starting out, they won't realize that there's even an adjustment that needs to be made. But for those who are mid game, who are still grinding, you've massively screwed them over.
It just seems so sneaky and underhanded. You said there would be stat adjustments. You played it off like it was no big deal.
I wonder how many hcims lose their status because of your poorly thought out transition
