forced full-screen launcher?

The title says it succinctly. Why in the multitudinous planes of existence do we have to full-screen a launcher that will be up for maybe 30 seconds, just to hunt down the play button to get in game. I can't stand having things full-screen that don't need to be, and want this changed back if at all plausible. And a large part of that is due to honest visual difficulties which require a more obvious clock on one screen. There is no reason why we should need to have this full-screen to find the 'play' button.

The play button on my launcher appears on the right hand side of the launcher, and it's impossible to make my launcher narrow enough for it to disappear - i.e. it's always visible.

Can you share a screenshot of your launcher where it shows the play button hiding when not full-screen?

Here's my launcher. As mentioned before, I cannot make my launcher any narrower than this. I don't know why yours is so narrow. Perhaps it has something to do with your operating system or the likes.

Mine looks exactly like A Cole's. I can't even change the launcher screen to only display part of it, I can only max or minimise it.

I've had a look at your screen shot @TemerityRhin and it looks like my (other game) screens look occasionally when I have the resolution set incorrectly. However, if everything else is working ok, I have no idea why you are only seeing the top left of the launcher.

Have you tried in the Community Led Technical Support forum? I've had a lot of help from them in the past when I've had other issues.
