Hi all,

We're now launching this week's RuneScape game update, we're aiming to reboot at 11:15 game time.

Edit: We're now launching a further game update to resolve the issue with legacy interface mode not displaying the game world, aiming to reboot at 15:45. Apologies for the inconvenience!

Issue with the recent update for legacy interface users. Multiple users have confirmed experiencing a brown screen, whereby they can't see the in-game environment, with only certain interface elements still visible after the update. Please can someone confirm that this issue is being investigated.

It's not just legacy interface mode - I get brown screen when I log in as well. I have reported a the issue "in game" using the bug reporter but, any advice how to fix this issue or when will this be sorted please? Thanks. boldric8

I'm getting the brown screen too although only with legacy interface, which I do prefer using for most activities

honestly if this is what we're getting from an update, then maybe if you're unsure if launching the update will bring a brown screen, then perhaps it's best to let the players test the update and give feedback (in I dunno? A Beta world like we used to have before EOC came out) before launching it as a live update :)

I do hope it's fixed soon though, I've sent a bug report 200m Dunge, Rc, Mage and invention accomplished, + 120 Constitution/Slayer/Range/Summoning/Woodcutting/Mining/Defence/Strength and 110m fishing, got comp/MQC and 200m Fishing/Woodcutting/Mining as well as 120 herb/Farming/Cooking most 120s just Agility, Theiving, Hunter and Prayer left
