There has been enough backlash, so I'd like to focus on things I'd like to see.

The thing I like about daily challenges is that they offer a bit of variety and encourage me to try a skill that I don't often do. I used to do my dailies and then suddenly end up with a few 100k XP until the next level. At that point, I'd bite the bullet and get the level. I also think I generally like that they could be a specific activity, like safes or runespan.
I'm more or less on the same boat with the Yak Track. I'm very disappointed that it's gone. I liked the variety it brought to my gameplay. It would give me a reason to grind a bit of fletching or smithing XP. Of course there also were the special events, like a scavanger hunt or a mini quest. As a Scaper, I like to see bars fill up. Yak Track satisfies that urge and allows me to pick on how I want to achieve the goal. Quick and low XP/GP or slow but with profits?
In comparison, the basic missions in the Hero pass feel really bland. "Do anything for 40 minutes" doesn't really encourage any of the above. The two general weekly missions feel better (mine ores and do D&Ds) and allow me to actually progress through it.

Last but not least I want to pour one out for the content buffs. Apart from how they were implemented, it seems like a nice addition to the 'reward' arsenal. We have enough cosmetics and XP rewards are getting tiring. Small QOL changes that can be earned through gameplay seems like a good addition to the pool of possible rewards. Something like an x% porter buff or a buff preventing resource depletion would be less controversial than the original rewards, but still welcome.
