I'm having the same problem. The screen just keeps flashing with red and pink pixels, and you can see the outline of the logo from the login screen in the multicolored pixels. It's really bizarre. I thought it was just a one time thing when I encountered this yesterday, but it is still doing it today. I've never had this happen before, so I don't know why this is suddenly happening now. If you have epilepsy, I would not recommend playing while this issue is going on, as the flashing pixels might give you a seizure. I don't have epilepsy, but even my eyes start to hurt if I look at the screen for more than a few seconds. The game is nearly unplayable now because of this.

If you click the minimize button, to the left of the X in the top right corner, it should stabilize. Then click again to go back to how you had it.

I've done that, and it didn't help.

For me the screen has horizontal lines and a huge curved banner that says runescape, looks like something that would be on the GE. The flashing is so intense that just now I felt like I escaped the game, rather then exited it. I'm not prone to having issues with flashing lights, but clearly this occurs at a rate that can be considered dangerous and harmful.

On October 17th I had the red flashing devil going on when I logged into the game. I minimized graphics and changed the background before I logged in and it got rid of it. Today Im getting the red flashing again and nothing has helped so far. I'll try to minimize the screen like you've mention and see if that works. I have made sure my graphics are up to date! So annoying!

I have premier membership and I can't play RS because of the flickering on the screen. It only happens on RS. It started after the beach update. I am using min graphics, updated my graphics , checked my drivers, restarted my computer, did all updates I can do on my computer. Jagex launcher needs to be fixed! I'm no the only one with this issue. I paid to play this game and I want to be able to play. This going on day 4 I can't log into rs. I have the Jagex Launcher and when I get to the login in screen the screen goes crazy blinking and mixing up all the content on the screen. Three days this is has been happening, today is the worse day. I wish I never got the launcher, if it doesn't get fixed I will stop playing

Minimising does work for me.

If that does not work for others, try changing to Compatibility Mode, from Auto (Normal Mode). That works.

Click the asterisk in the lower left when you are first logging on. You can change modes there.

For me going into the lobby and then going back into the game works. Sometimes I've had to do that twice before the multicolored pixels went away.

This also happens randomly during gameplay as well, but is rare. But would really suck if it were to happen during combat.

It's a bit relieving to see it's not just me having this issue. I thought maybe it was time for a new PC.
