Ok, Since the introduction of necromancy, which included 'tweaking' of stats on mobs, I've been trying to figure out why it seems like certain mobs were massively buffed.
Well, its cause they were and it needs to be rectified.
The first one I noticed was the basilisks. It didn't make sense that before the update i barely needed any food to finish a slayer task for them, but after the update I needed close to 100 pieces of food in order to finish the task, and that was with protection prayers which i had not used before when fighting them.
Finally got through that task and had fungal mages. They were a breeze. Then I had bloodvelds. Those are usually a cakewalk, no food needed, but lo and behold they have been massively buffed.
So, I started looking around to compare.
Basilisks - combat level 77 - hp 9450 - max hit 1100
Bloodvelds - combat level 68 - hp 10250 - max hit 980
Fungal Mage - combat level 81 - hp 2900 - max hit 232
Now, I also took a look at lesser demons. Those I have had to use prayers and food with.
Lesser Demon - combat level 70 - hp 5000 - max hit 480

Seriously, when is this going to get balanced? You screwed up royally and yet nothings being done about it.

While the HP of some mobs are "massively buffed", their XP is even more massively buffed. This is intended to make combat xp from mobs more consistently based on HP. For that reason, in case if you don't notice, many bosses are giving much higher xp after the update.
