After the recent Woodcutter's Grove update, the achievement "Barking Up the Wrong Tree" under the Morytania area achievements is unattainable. Cutting Hollow Trees east of Canifis yields bark, which should give you the achievement. It currently does not.

I opened a thread on Reddit, afterwhich, several users were able to confirm the same.

Please fix as soon as possible. I was really looking forward to my Mortyania 2 legs for that sweet sweet blood rune buff.

Mods, a quick search of the reddit runescape subreddit for "Bugged Morytania Achievement" will return a thread with several other people reporting the same issue.

Can we please get an acknowledgement that the Morytania achievement path is currently broken?

You're extremely unlikely to get a response from a Jagex mod here, since they don't really use these forums anymore. Instead, you're better off looking for a response on that Reddit thread you mentioned.

Also, and this goes without saying, if you haven't already, send in a bug report in-game. As that is really everything you can do at this time.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

I'll guess you have completed the Golden Cape Hunt and have the Golden Consignment buff activated. If this is the case, turn it off from the Wise Old Man south of the GE and try again.

Anyway, to report a bug (if you think there is one), use the report button in the game. You are barking up the wrong tree if you have already decided it is a bug as Jmods won't see your report in the RSOF.

Hi All,

Thanks for the responses. I've already made a bug report in-game.

I have yet to get my Golden Cape, so the consignment feature from the Wise Old Man is currently not activated.

If anyone else finds this thread and is experiencing the same issue, be sure to make a bug report.

There's a limited number of Patch Notes this week, as the J-Mods are all hard at work on their Game Jam projects! Don't panic though - we'll be back to our regular Patch Notes schedule next week.
