It is a seasonal NPC, so I don't think there is a plan for Rasmus Claus and the likes to accompany us in our daily adventures.

However, technically I can see it definitely possible... as a companion in our future updates like we have in the Ungael Arena Companion System.

Note that Rasmus is not a pet or a familiar, as we can have Rasmus and a familar out at the same time. It is quite different implementation than our usual summoning and pet system. The potential is certainly here already. :)

the given name of the imp that follows you is random to the player. as you see i placed head snow imp in this forum thread since the name given to me is barry, but however i have knowlege that the name given to other players may and are different from myself.

and 2nd i am asking if it is currently possible to recall the imp to ones side after completion of the quest. not in future events like this or future content unrelated. is it possible to reaquire the imp to your side during the (2023) christmas event after completion of the quest?

The names are random from a small list but the same one from the old Xmas quest. You can summon him only in the land of snow/ Yeti town (Violet Quest) areas. It's not seasonal and can be used all year round using the ice amulet and yes it takes the place of any other follower so you cannot have another out at the same time.

Strange you cannot summon him again in Christmas Village after the quest, I was using a magic carpet when skilling, so the area is not a pet free place like some seasonal areas in the past.

I certainly had both my quest Snow Imp AND my familiar out at the same time. I used a familiar pouch to override my pet, and had both the snow imp and my pack yak disguised as my pet out at the same time.

^ @ Dilbert, the title of this thread says post quest, the OP also told you twice he was talking about ''after completion of the quest''. You CAN NOT have both out AFTER the quest. Maybe you can DURING the quest.

If you try AFTER the quest in the areas I mentioned, and you have another follower then nothing happens, not even a message in your chat box telling you cannot have both at the same time.
