I get they idea was have an "afk" method of standing there and the "active" method of doing the distraction for drops and xp, but I've found too many issues with moving for these events. The ghost will get you trapped in a slow walk across the ritual site with it before flying away for no reward. The shambling horror will never ping off a tile, they just repeatedly tell you that you can't repair it now. and the sparkles can last anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 seconds, and by the time you've heard the sound, clicked it and ran, it's already gone. I don't need to run to it, we can be active with clicking rather than hands off.
