Hi everyone,
I need some advice with fight the Queen Black Dragon and obtaining the drop of Tortured Soul
Essence. I have fought her using necromancy and also range on a number of occasions now and have not received any of the essence. Does anyone know if there is a problem receiving these or is there something I have missed. Do I need to do anything special. I have already received the task from Kili in the City of Um.

Hi Dogmadirish.

I believe there is a slight issue in that you don't get the essence drop if the QBD is killed by a death mark. There's a bit of randomness to it, and if I remember correctly, I killed 7 or 8 to get the 5 essence.

I have also seen mention that using Saradomin brews can also prevent the essence from dropping.

You have to use Necromancy. You won't get the essence using range. Glad to be of service :) (Powered by GPP™ - Share and Enjoy!)
