On my Jagex Launcher is a website, i.e. www.pegi.info" and to the side of it is stated, "PEGI 16 Drugs and in-game purchases". What is this? Surely Jagex is not a partner with a website that is selling drugs or items in the game?

PEGI is short for Pan-European Game Information, which is a rating system for video games, similar to the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) used in North America.

RuneScape is rated PEGI 16 because the game has use of alcohol, as well as in-game purchases with real world currencies.

no.
thats not what that means

its a warning that this game has references to drugs. (aka overloads entire herblore skill etc) and beer (alcohol)

jagex are a uk company they wouldnt be selling drugs or linked to anything selling drugs as thats illegal in the uk.

its the same as a rating for films when there is violence etc in it.
