Whether you're planning on re-maxing or racing to 200M Necromancy, experienced players will take a short break from RS3 until 3 days before release.

You've done skill releases before. But experience is not physical preparation. The more you sweat now, the more prepared you will be for playing a new skill in unprecedented heat.

Prepare early. Invest in a fan or humidifer if you need a backup. August 7 could be extremely warm, and we know competitive or excited RS3 players will play mind blowing hours on the first week of Necromancy.

It may or may not be hot, but its good to be prepared. Stay in a cool room. Hydrate with electrolytes. Stretch and walk periodically.

Do you have any tips for playing RS3 in warm weather?

Turn up my air conditioning at home and level Necromancy through killing on my PC.

Put on my sunglasses and chilling and skilling my way through Necromancy Rituals at the beach. I have phones.

Have a stock of cold drinks, lots of ice.

Are we playing runescape outside or inside? If outside, wear your sunblock spf50pa+++.

Cover your windows with blackout film, air conditioner always on,a fan directly infront of you. Have an icepack too.

The aim is to make it as cold as possible because(I assume) some people will be playing alot more when this skill first comes out.

I will stock up on electrolyte drinks and use the fan if it gets hot. I always stretch and walk around if I want a break from the game.

Too far ahead in the future to tell if I'll be grinding necro the day it comes out or if I'll wait a couple weeks for bugs to be fixed

If anyone is drinking caffeinated energy drinks, just be wary it will have act as a diuretic. You will lose water, and be dehydrated, so try and limit the strain on your heart and kidneys. If you are not sleeping in your normal routine, the negative effect accumulates.

Do not take shifts in an account sharing ring. Retroactive bans happen even if its 10% shared. Racers under one roof can do it at their own risk. If you are bossing with friends, have a set time schedule where everyone takes a quick break, then comes back.

Buy extra ice cube trays and load your freezer the night before release. On launch, you will have a week's supply of
ice cubes
to keep you cool. Maybe more, depending on the number of ice trays you purchase and how frequently you use your cubes.

Just making more Overloads with my main while getting a couple of alts to catch up on artisan skill levels for Necromancy with DXP Live!

Combat areas may be packed with fresh start players next week, so I will avoid the rush and go with instanced content like Shattered Worlds for the first couple of days, or no sweat it, chilling
in my Player Owned Sunken Dungeon. :)
