RS3's Necromancy release date announcement has just been released yesterday, and the India Times is already reporting it.

https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/international/us/runescape-jagex-announces-release-date-for-new-necromancy-skill-check-details-here/articleshow/101375149.cms

We haven't seen Jagex reaching out for that market for long time already. It seems like Indians may find RS3's Necromancy interesting to their country's economics too.

What do you think?

BJP is too strict with censorship to allow a game like RS where there are many references to players killing gods and cows and whatnot. Controlling the dead is also big no no when they believe in reincarnation.

What do I think? it's never going to happen without major changes to the game.

India hates China, China ran Jagex for a bit. India reports how Jagex is still doing good outside of Chinese ownership. ...If you read between the lines.

Trust me when I say 1.5 billion people are not going to start playing RS anytime soon.

I am pretty sure you are mistaken India with other country, perhaps China.

India doesn't have any problem of players killing gods or cows and such. Actually we even had Runescape servers in India in the past.

China doesn't run Jagex now. Carlyle Group owns it and I don't think we are going to see Runescape in China, but we are talking about India, not China.

Story telling, high fantasy, games like WoW, Final Fantasy, Lost Ark, Destiny 2, ESO, Black Desert Online are the most popular MMORPGs in India. They are all the kind of games RS3 is, with emphasis on decade long story driven character progression and not just the hack and slack combat kind.

Perhaps RS3 can do well there, and not just in South America and Europe.

Whilst it is expected that players will have differing points of view, posting content to mock or insult is not welcome, Scouse. For this reason, one of your posts and others, which either referred to it or quoted it, have been removed.

I appreciate that you are trying to illustrate your point, Dilbert2001, but the post above comes awfully close to advertising other games. Bear this in mind, before you post again.
