does the ring of Life only work for wilderness ??? I got killed while wearing it - but still died ???? and if so is there a different ring that can automatically safe you if your health is under certain Limit - while Not in the wilderness ???

The Ring of Life works anywhere (except at certain bosses), including up to level 30 of the Wilderness. However it only works if your health falls below 10% of your total life points, but is more than 0.

For example: If you have 9000 life points, 10% would be 900.

If you are at 1000 life points, and something hits you for 800, you would be left with 200, which is under 900 and the Ring of Life would activate and pull you to safety.

If you are at 1000 life points, and something hits you for 1200, you would be left with 0 and die.

Sign of life in pocket slot if you don't have 99 defence cape. Or portent of life if you have 99 Divination as they are not tradeable but frees up pocket slot.

Porters of restoration will heal you if below 50% health are another option.
