On a practical level, what will happen to the Clan Pages when the Forums go? Will there be some mechanism that allows us to carry over information, such as the membership lists and levels to other platforms, such as Discord? I'll be interested to know what measures Jagex are putting in place to replicate the clan sites.

Interesting question. Like to hear answer on that.

However, clans pretty much died out 6 years ago. Don't think it is a concern for them anymore. When was last time you have seen anything updated for clan stuff?

I disagree, clan posts are still regularly bumped and we still recruit people via them finding us on the forums. If you want to shop around for a clan the forums are great, because active clans bump their forum posts, generally speaking.

Are you thinking about the Clan section of the RS site, which displays clan info, members, total xp etc? Community tab > Clans

Doesn't seem like that part of the site is being discontinued at this stage.
However, everything under the RS Forums (RuneScape 3 Clans section etc.) is being retired. Sixth Realm | Community Clan Founded in 2009

Doesn't seem like that part of the site is being discontinued at this stage. If that's what they're talking about, then it's probably a safe bet that the Clans pages aren't closing... at least not yet.

The forums module (in the url /m=forum/) is closing. The Clans pages are a different web module (in the url /m=clan-home/).

On that note, though, the Clans pages do also appear to be old webscript pages - much like the forums. Given that Clans are a significant part of the game for many players, it's possible that the Clans section could be updated to remain included when Jagex flips the switch on the website moving it to the newer technology platform.
