Hi,

In most cases do not open this, even if it is a fast look! Block that email. Jagex is never sending anything like this. Jagex send only news whats new in a update or when there is a event. Or u have yourself send a change password email.

Yes, that would be a scam email, and you can report it as spam to your email provider.

The opening post was hidden as it contained what might be someone's email address - even though its a scam email, its still best to keep that private. ;)

What ApplejuiceAJ said. Also, see this sticky all about scam emails and phishing. Very helpful with tips and tricks about how to stay safe.

If you find any suspicious link regarding RS or Jagex, there's the Phishing Report Centre where you can report it and Jagex will review it.

This is a place for you to submit websites, social media accounts, and emails addresses that are misleading players by masquerading as Jagex in an attempt to steal their money, RuneScape account, access to their computer, or other nefarious acts.

And on top of all of that, there are tips in Jagex's Support Centre about phishing and suspicious links.
