What is with how you introduce new Executive Producers and the way they seem to flex their position. It's time to drop the hierarchy act and start acting like a company that success depends on your community.
We've got amazing J-mods who've been with us for many years, attending RuneFests, playing the game, and being part of the community. They know us; they are us. But every time a new "big shot" Executive Producer comes in, it's like they have to show off and act all high and mighty. Mod Warden did it, and now Mod Keeper seems to be following suit, leaving us all hanging about some serious stuff. Are they even talking to the mods who understand the game and the players? I might at least feel somewhat okay with it if it was Mod Pip who made the post... but lets hear from them Mods who make the game, or used to make the game... There's a few veteran J-Mods who I know are still about but it's like they're thrown in the background.
Jagex, seriously, let's cut the BS. Instead of flaunting hierarchy, let the face of Jagex be those who get us and whom we trust. Our veteran J-mods have earned their stripes and our respect. They should be at the forefront. Their involvement can lead to better updates and a stronger connection between Jagex and the players.
We need transparency, not this secretive nonsense. When you've got major updates brewing, talk to us. Address our concerns before they blow up.
This community has got very used to MTX now - so you don't need to beat around the bush with it. We get it. You need to make money. But you go about it the wrong way with this bush.
I spend a lot more of my time playing RuneScape than anything else, yet I tend to spend my spare cash on other games and stream subs etc. If MTX wasn't so bad perhaps I'd be interested to spend my money here.
MTX can work. But your trial and error approaches rather than including the community.. Why would you get a load of streamers into Jagex to try out Necromancy but not MTX?
