If you come across another player who is violating the
Rules of RuneScape
or behaving inappropriately, you'll want to
Report a player
in-game. This action sends a snapshot of recent chat and activity to Jagex for review and determination of action to be taken.
In instances where a player is just getting on your nerves/being a bit annoying, but not necessarily in violation of game rules or inappropriate behavior, the
Ignore list
can be a very valuable tool.
As for automating these processes, I disagree. Such systems are not fool-proof in that they lack understanding of the concepts of contextual clues and meanings, for one example. The systems already in place do work and I feel are sufficient in the majority of cases.
