How do I delete a character?

I have tried on the website and on the launcher. I would like to keep my other characters but delete one. If you go to manage characters it is not an option.

if you mean delete an account from the jag account, i dont think it is possible

Currently there is no way to remove a character from your Jagex account - I know that it's a popular request, so maybe Jagex will give us a way to at least archive characters sometime in the future. Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;
Do you think I should get off the tracks?
