This isn't a hate thread, or a thread to get me or anyone else bans or mutes.. Everything should be equal, either celebrate it all or nothing! At the same time, this is a game, nobody cares about real world issues when comes to gaming, we play games to escape real world aspects! it's depressing.. and doesn't help we need reminders here!

Politics/religion should not have anything to do with this game and should not see any representation ingame.
Why we tolerate christmas and other holidays is because we all know they are not about celebrating what they once stood for. Now its just for selling and proffiting.

Since then many have done the opposite exposing their private situation in high detail.

It doesn't matter if you are LGBTQ/black/blue/yellow/red or whatever ...

- stop displaying your privates in public
- stop discussing things that do make you even more vulnerable

Do find professional consultation, do find people in real life that may give your private purpose & meaning helping you when you experience weak moments, feeling vulnerable at most.

Here in RuneScape/OldSchool RuneScape there are private settings that help you to stay safe, there is a ignore list to help you out in your defences.
Do not engage in every discussion you may find throughout the RuneScape Official Forums or any other Social Media Channel but read them with care. Learn what there is and what there isn't.

When Jagex doesn't celebrate Asian holidays like Lunar New Year that almost 30% of all people in the world observe, why should they only care about Blacks? Otherwise, some may have the same argument on Indians holidays among other important dates for ethnical reasons.

In Gielinor race isn't really an issue like it is in real life. Blacks, whites, orientals, etc. are all just humans. The racial separations in game are between different species of humanoids. Celebrate human pride. If you want to fight hate go to Lumbridge and kill some H.A.M. guards.

Being said I'm not a fan of sexuality being prominently celebrated in the game for this reason. I also found it strange that that Fort quest displayed character pronouns considering we have the Makeover mage. If a person feels like they are the opposite sex they can just tele over to fally and get a perfect transition in 3 seconds lol. If the next morning they want to change back - same process.

Having a lesbian/gay/poc npc character in your game isnt political.
But pointing it out and focusing on it is.

Im sure there are npc in runescape no one know is gay/lesbian, that the person who wrote and designed them made em like that. and thats because when you talk to them. They dont mention who they like to sleep with. They are a normal person that wants to help you with your quest.
But if you take that npc and during a part of the year, you put that npc in black leather and every sentance they say something like: As a gay man i think. You are now making it political.
