I'm convinced the Grand Exchange was implemented solely to keep prices low to make the only appealing options to earning GP as Bossing which we never get drops 99% of the time I mean you can go watch streams of people grinding for months without drops and we ourselves know we don't get any drops just like them, or the other alternative which is Bonds and seeing how you 99% of the time never get a drop from bossing that would leave Bonds as the only other alternative to earning actual GP because I'm playing 6-12 hours a day on 12 accounts for the entire free membership I earn and I'm barely making any money what-so-ever and that shouldn't be the case, imagine trying to just make money on 1 account how sad and pathetic that would be, so I personally think the Grand Exchange was implemented by Jagex to keep prices low while having extremely low drop rates on every rare in the game in order to boost up the purchasable with IRL cash Bonds using whales aka just another price gouging mechanic.
I'm honest to God trying to find nice things to say about this game but the fact I couldn't earn any money on my main unless I got a super rare lucky drop which happened once in 20 years I kid you not on top of the fact I've been grinding on my 12 alts for months just to barely break even with nothing to show for it should show every player that the only way forward on this game is to spend IRL cash and after having been perma muted with just a single warning you can already guess that isn't going to happen for me, but for the rest of you unless you get that super rare drop good luck I guess, even if you do you're going to need about 10 of those drops so 200 years roughly of gameplay to unlock every Billion GP upgrade, hey by that time at least you'll have unlocked the level 352 Automatic Potion Sipper haha man this game is actually horrible beyond even the most basic understanding of fun, which is what games are supposed to be designed for, FUN, this right here, this ain't fun.
