was Christmas morning and someone gave me 10m and said merry Christmas witch i thought was supper nice but about 30 mins later the person started to freak out was saying some pretty wild stuff.. anyway they said they are gonna pay a bot farm 100m to get my account banned is that something that is true? i am just trying to get myself covered and wanted to know

Egad... Makes me glad I don't accept perceived gifts from strangers. Sad that they're ruining generous acts in game though.

I used to give away free stuff often. Now I may not be able to cause people are going to assume there are strings attached or worry about being banned over accepting a gift.

You need not put up with this toxic BS.

If some lowlife is threatening to deploy bots against you, they are admitting their intention to engage in rule-breaking. Report any such players in-game. This way, Jagex has their confession, and can take appropriate measures to prevent them from trying to extort others in the future.

Do NOT give in to their demands, as it will only encourage more of this anti-social behavior.

Tell them to enjoy their ban and add them to your Block List. All hail The Empty Lord!

i wouldnt worry about it at all. just enjoy the 10m.

you have to think why would they think it was worth to spend real money to have a small chance to have something happen to your account. it wont be worth it. its just a scare tactic to make you give even more to them.

So far nothing to worry, you simply have the choice to accept or decline.

The rest ... just ignore otherwise if you doubt, dump it somewhere on the floor and leave it to vanish.
