Upkeep cost change?

While we are working on upgrading our clan's citadel, I put locks on the plot with the goal set to the upkeep numbers to make sure we don't get a gazillion of one resources and not enough of another for upkeep at the end of the week.

Today, I just noticed the upkeep numbers have drastically changed: for example, a tier 5 citadel, with same tier plots across the board, required 2525 logs, 2460 stone etc...
Now the upkeep figure on the resource tab says 485 logs, 475 stone etc...
Is that a glitch or a deliberate change?

Not a fan of this change at all... Our clan busted our rears to get tier 7 (almost 6 years ago) and we've been maintaining Tier 7 with less than 20 active people in the clan. This seems like a hand-out to the whingy folks who don't actually want to WORK to get theirs to higher tiers & frankly, is a slap in the face to those of us who have maintained our own for YEARS at higher costs!

Upgrade costs still remain the same, as does the required visitor count in order to upgrade Citadel tiers. The only thing that's been reduced is weekly upkeep. This means it takes just as long to upgrade, but maintaining your Citadel has been eased.

Citadels are a needless, weekly chore for most clan members, not work. This is a game, and Citadels are old/outdated content that have almost no benefits (aside from free XP, which is outdated by better XP methods) for completing.

Also, this subforum is for getting help/advice and asking questions about clans from other players. I'd suggest posting in the Rants forum or the Recent Game Updates forum if you'd like to make constructive criticism of the update. :) ~ Sicariu
