Ok, so there is this clan that has a leader that is willing to pass his leadership (cause he isn't playing anymore) but he wants to retain his "stats' in clan (like xp earned in the clan page, etc) so he doesn't want to LEAVE clan in order to pass leadership.

Is it possible to just give someone else clan leadership, or if necessary request a Jmod here to transfer leadership if both post and agree on the forum/are spoken to in game about the decision?

I believe he can.

Demote all deputies, apart from the one he wants to be owner.
Demote himself to any rank, and that deputy will become owner. Owner of

It worked! You have to demote yourself to admin or lower and it asks for confirmation saying "Your deputy owner will become the owner is that ok?" and says "Yes I don't want to be leader anymore." and it passes

It's been this way as long as I can remember, as long as the only deputy left is the one leadership is to be handed over to. Otherwise if more than one, it will go, I think, to the longest standing one.
