Frequently Asked Questions
We have prepared some Frequently Asked Questions which will hopefully answer any questions you have.
Q:
When is my application going to be reviewed?
A:
We try to review the applications at least
once a month
, but due to other work constraints this isn't always possible. In those situations, we will process the applications as soon as we are able.
Q:
I've just created/revived a clan, should I post an application?
A:
We are looking for experienced clans to take part in the Clan Leaders Forum and as such, due to your clan being in its infancy, we would expect you to wait to apply until your clan meets
both
the requirements below:
-
Minimum clan age of 6 months,
-
Minimum clan size of 50 clan members,
Q:
How many representatives can we have from our clan in the Clan Leader Forum?
A:
We only allow
2 representatives per clan
to ensure there is a fair balance and equal voice amongst all clans within the Clan Leader Forum. If your clan has more than 2 leaders who would like to represent your clan, you will unfortunately be required to pick only 2
*
to represent your clan. The person filling out the application will count as 1 of these 2 clan representatives and should list their own name as a representative when applying.
*
You are not forced to have 2 representatives and can represent your clan alone if you prefer.
Q:
What if I would like to add/remove Clan Leader Forum access from a clan representative?
A:
There are 3 different scenarios:
If your clan currently only has 1 representative and you want to add a second:
You will have to submit a new application (found under Application Template) in order to add a second clan representative to the Clan Leader Forum.
If your clan currently has 2 representatives and you want to remove one:
You will have to submit a new application (found under Application Template) to request Clan Leader Forum access be removed from your second representative. This could be due to them leaving your clan or becoming inactive. On the line which asks for the “Name of the Clan Representative(s)” type in
Remove:
followed by the RSN of your clan representative you wish to remove CLF access from.
Example:
Name of Clan Representative(s): Remove: Bye
If your clan currently has 2 representatives and you want to replace a representative:
If your clan already has 2 representatives who have Clan Leader Forum access and you wish to add someone else, you will have to fill out a new application form (found under Application Template) and ask for your second clan representative to be removed and replaced. On the line which asks for the “Name of the Clan Representative(s)” type in
Remove:
followed by the RSN of your clan representative you wish to remove CLF access from, then type
Add:
followed by the RSN of the new representative you wish to add.
Example:
Name of Clan Representative(s): Remove: Bye, Add: Hello
Q:
I'm the leader/owner of a group which doesn’t have a Clan or use the clan chat feature, can I still apply?
A:
As the Clan Leader Forum focuses on the functionality and communications of RuneScape 3 clans, we will not be able to process applications for groups who do not have a clan or use the clan chat feature. Given the Clan Leader Forums focus on clan related issues, while these groups are a great community initiative, they should be supported in other ways.
Thanks!
